Artist Brief Introduction:

Arlene Lin, a Chinese artist, she was graduated from the School of Art, Chongqing Jiaotong University.

From the beginning of my creation, I have always been working around water, light, life and the universe. These elements have their own mysterious qualities. Although I come into contact with them every day, I still cannot fully understand them. This sense of mystery is the core of my artistic expression.

I am deeply inspired by Merleau-Ponty's "Phenomenology of Perception". I interact with the world through my body to feel and actively create.

I study the variability of water and pigments, and use different texture effects to capture the most authentic emotions and consciousness of the inner source. This process is a fusion of unconscious color flow and conscious thinking. It is both the generation of consciousness and the presentation of the inner world.

I try to construct a thematic space that is both material and full of perception in the contradictory system of virtuality and reality, so that the materials and beauty of vitality can surge in it. I hope that through my art, I can awaken the viewer's perception and invite them to enter into an experience of reconnecting with the world.
